Derek Foster

Derek comes from a community development background and has worked throughout rural Australia and the Asia-Pacific region in projects addressing poverty alleviation and post-tsunami relief work. He is currently the Project Manager and facilitator for FOCUS's Men On Track program.

Derek has a background in counseling. He has a strong interest in working with men in regional Australia, and was instrumental in setting up a Men’s Shed in Gympie. He is also a musician and runs music therapy programs for rural men and young people.
